They seek dedicated professionals who are passionate about shaping the future of renewable energy and contributing to the next generation of solar products.Essential Duties and ResponsibilitiesEnsure all operations staff are following and executing all operations and equipment safely.Oversee and provide constant training and technical assistance to all operation staff ensuring they are trained in and are following all work instructions and best practices.Report any defectivenon-conforming product.Perform quality control as required by the work instructions and as instructed by the production and quality leaders and staff.Ensure traceability of the product and its components through proper use of the Data Collection System and ensuring that the system is always active and functional.Check the minimum stock of raw materials in production necessary to fulfill the production schedule, refilling and ordering as required.Work with the Maintenance Technician to resolve maintenance problems, following all procedures.Meet with the Lead Hands and Production Supervisor of the previous and subsequent shifts, transferring information about problems and solutions implemented during their form the Production Manager about issues regarding production, quality, process andor organization of personnel or resources immediately upon observation.Propose improvements to all procedures and processes to improve yield and uptime of production processes and all relevant equipment.Maintain the ability to perform all tasks associated with the production of the product, and substitute for any operation staff in any area during breaks andor absences with the shift.Work overtime as required.Minimize the risk of accidents and quality issues.Maximize the technical knowledge and engagement of the operations staff.Maximize the uptime of the equipment and the traceability and quality of the finished product.Achieve the production goals and improvements outlined by the Production ManagerDevelop the spirit of cooperation on their municate company information to their shift as required.Work with other teams to ensure improvements and efficiencies are being maximized across the plete other tasks as required andor directed by management.QualificationsSkillsProficient in Microsoft OfficeHand-eye coordination, manual dexterityExceptional organizational and time management skillsProblem-solving skillsTraitsCommitment to continuous learningTeam- and customer-orientedAttention to detail.The ability to head a team successfully and resolve issues relating to personnel quickly and efficiently.Ability to work flexible andor rotating shifts.Education andor ExperienceHigh School diploma or equivalent3+ years of production experienceKnowledge of process improvement, budgeting, and production standardsPreferred Qualifications5 years of experience as a production supervisor at a manufacturing plantExperience with production planning, controls, and instrumentationExperience with MRP andor ERP systemsAdditional InformationCompensation and Benefits $68,000 - $73,000AnnuallyAnnual bonus eligibility of up to 10% of salaryPaid Time Off (vacation, sick, and holiday)401(k) Retirement PlanMedicalDentalVision Insurance PlansHealth Savings Account optionSupplementalVoluntary Insurance PlansEmployee Assistance ProgramTuition Reimbursement ProgramEmployee Recognition ProgramsEmployee PV Panel Purchase Program
