Brown & Brown has an exciting opportunity available for a Benefits Analyst supporting our Denver, CO team!The Benefits Analyst will assist in servicing the needs of employee benefit clients. This includes daily service functions and frequent ad hoc requests, preparing requests for proposals and renewals of benefit coverages, and escalating issues as needed. This is a great opportunity for a benefits professional looking to grow into a more client facing position.This is an hourly position, with a required hybrid schedule out of the Denver office. WHAT YOU'LL DO:Assists Account ExecutivesBenefits Consultants in preparing requests for proposals, renewals of benefit coverages, contracts, summary plan descriptions, agreements, etc.Works with clients and markets to answer questions and resolve issues.Performs routine service functions for the clients.Confers with Consultant to identify, plan, and develop methods and procedures to obtain greater efficiency and effectiveness of benefit programs.Assists Consultant with review of contracts, summary plan descriptions, agreements, etc., for accuracy.Identify, plan, and develop methods and procedures to obtain greater efficiency and effectiveness of benefit programs.Request and manage benefit renewal delivery and confirmation process.Draft benefit marketing, manage process and deliver results to Benefit Consultant.Create, review and edit employee benefit guides, presentations and other client communications as requested.Support client in open enrollment preparation and execution.Provide compliance updatesnotices to clients and address questionsrequests.Manage internal client audit process.Participate in market meetings, seminars and training programs as directed.WHAT YOU'LL NEED:3+ years' experience with a thorough understanding and knowledge of employee benefitsMust obtain and maintain active LifeAccident and Health Insurance Agent License within one year of employment.Bachelor's Degree in related industry preferred andor equivalent experienceBasic knowledge of compliance and regulations in the benefits arenaProficient with MS Office SuiteMicrosoft Excel - Strong to expert level skillsStrong analytical and critical thinking abilityAbility to maintain a high level of confidentialityExcellent verbal and written communication skillsAbility to work independently and exercise judgementDetail oriented with excellent organizational skills, capable of both interpreting data as well as interacting with clients on a time-sensitive basisDemonstrates a sense of urgency and a proactive approach to meeting client requirementsWHAT WE OFFER:Excellent growth and advancement opportunitiesCompetitive pay based on experience - $30-$36 per hourPaid Time Off (PTO)Generous benefits package: health, dental, vision, 401(k), continuing education, mental health resources, etc.Employee Stock Purchase Plan
