Our mission is: "together, we build excellence every day..." and by doing so we will transform OBE from a good company into a great company.How you'll make an impactAs Director, Finance, you will help drive strategic initiatives while responsible for the direct supervision of business unit financial analysis, reporting, forecasting and related activities. This key leader will be instrumental in helping to build and sustain a high caliber finance team, identifying efficiencies, and creating value within a decision support function. Lastly, this position will deliver cash forecasting, financial reporting, and support related activities such as budgeting and compliance functions. This is a hybrid role, working from our Dallas office three times per week.Key Responsibilities People Management Team TransformationPartner with the VP, Finance to identify specific talents across the overall finance organization; Access skill sets, and work to determine team needs.Continuous focus on growth and knowledge expansion for all members of the team.Promote an inclusive and diverse team.Lead change including frequent communication and feedback loop.Finance Reporting & Analysis Create and provide streamlined and value-add total GGS reporting to drive profitable sales growth and operational efficiencies.Access current reporting and adjust as needed: Reporting should be accurate, timely, and appropriate, while meeting the needs of the business by creating actionable outcomes.Prepare and present monthly reporting packages, budget reviews, project analysis, and other relevant deliverables to leadership, including senior leadership. Business Leader PartnershipEffectively partner with the field and functional teams to provide the financial tools and expertise necessary to drive profitable customer growth (existing and new), as well as the analysis necessary to manage, and reduce where necessary, operations costs across the business.Profitability InitiativesPrepare and present effective financial modeling for business cases and capital requests, challenging and driving the Field leaders to a business-like mindset.Continually develop analysis, implement tools, and educate the leadership teams to improve margin, while also growing the top line.Budget Forecast AccuracyTake an instrumental role in development, and continue to refine the annual budget process, using known business conditions knowledge from sales and operations teams.Develop a more robust, and accurate, monthly Forecasting process and cadence - Striving to budget and forecast better each month.About the right personQualifications Needed for SuccessAbility to work from our Dallas office three times per weekBachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
