The Senior Mechanical Engineer will be responsible for designing, analyzing, and implementing hydraulic systems and components. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in mechanical engineering with a focus on hydraulics, strong problem-solving skills, and the ability to lead projects from conception to completion.Key Responsibilities:Design and develop hydraulic systems, including pumps, valves, actuators, and associated components.Conduct feasibility studies and analyze system performance using simulation tools and methodologies.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate hydraulic systems into larger mechanical systems.Lead engineering projects, ensuring adherence to timelines, budgets, and quality standards.Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers and interns.Prepare detailed engineering documentation, including specifications, reports, and drawings.Conduct failure analysis and implement corrective actions for hydraulic system issues.Stay current with industry trends and advancements in hydraulic technology.Participate in product testing and validation to ensure compliance with safety and performance standards.Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field; Master's degree preferred.Minimum of 5 years of experience in mechanical engineering with a focus on hydraulics.Proficient in hydraulic system design and analysis software (e.g., MATLAB, AutoCAD, SolidWorks).Strong understanding of fluid mechanics, thermodynamics, and materials science.Excellent project management skills with a proven ability to lead multidisciplinary teams.Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to present complex concepts clearly.Professional Engineering (PE) license preferred, or the ability to obtain one within [specific time frame].
