Ecommerce Merchandising and Operations ManagerJOB SUMMARYThe Ecommerce Merchandising Manager will be responsible for the daily management of the Trina Turk websites. This position acts as an operations support and process owner and collaborates with cross-functional areas to troubleshoot and implement processes to ensure the websites operate efficiently. The eCommerce Merchandising Manager is responsible for creating a consumer-first experience to drive sales and engagement. They will build a compelling catalog of product and devise effective selling strategies, manage the consumer journey and shopping experience, and execute product launches and promotions. This role is responsible for reporting on product performance and reviewing historical sales data to make informed product recommendations and increase sales. They will ensure the best user experience and comprehensive merchandising strategy, recommending real-time actions. This role will serve as the liaison between Marketing, Development, Planning, Buying, Operations, Customer Service, Licensing, and external vendors to maintain the functionality of the websites. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Ensure that new features and functionality are fully tested before going live on websitesExecute e-commerce operations projects, including timelines, deliverables, cross-functional partnerships, and communicationWebsite salespromotions: tagging, setting up, and making discounts liveOversee daily operations management from product content set-up, promotions, pricing, troubleshooting of product fulfillment, and system integrationCollaborate with developers to implement new features in ShopifyTroubleshoot all issues with Developer, Customer Service, Ops, and Shopify supportIdentify and implement Shopify apps to support overall e-commerce initiativesReview challenges and devise solutions to support e-commerce, user experience, information technology, marketing, and customer serviceManage our connection with third-party fulfillment partners to our eCommerce platform to ensure accurate inventory synchronization and seamless order processingMonitor data flow and troubleshoot issues between Full Circle (ERP) and Shopify platform Ensure products are set up accurately with all details and necessary informationReview online product pages constantly and implement improvements that will increase consumer spendingBuild and recommend merchandising strategies based on data and analyticsReview and update product recommendationsMonitor customer reviews and flag concerns with the appropriate departmentsPerform bi-weekly checks of online product to ensure the best brand experience for the end consumerEvaluate site experience across desktop and mobile, and recommend upgrades to further improve customer experienceMonitor discounts, chargebacks, gift cards etc. for unusual activityReturns management: process returnsexchanges from the returns log and in Loop. Work with the warehouse and Ecommerce team on any inventory discrepanciesSet up tax codes in ShopifySchedule and mange external set dressing staff and photo samples Manage Ecom samples for website photoshootsUpdate promotional calendar and product ETAs EDUCATION ANDOR EXPERIENCE 5-7 years of experience in digital marketing and merchandisingSolid understanding of digital channels, trends, and user behaviorsWorking knowledge of promotion and marketing strategiesStrong team player with the ability to build and maintain good rapport with both internal and external customers Exceptional organizational and communication skills with demonstrated ability to prioritize workload and manage multiple projectsAbility to manage direct reports Experience with Shopify and POS systemsDeep understanding of ERP and inventory management systems Knowledge of Excel, Microsoft Office, Slack, and Trello
