The main objective of this role is to develop machine programs for Mills & Lathes with up to 5 axes. This involves collaborating with cross-functional teams consisting of machinistsoperators, manufacturing engineers, production supervisors, supply chain representatives, quality engineersinspectors, and operationsprogram management. The aim is to support program schedule and performance goals, mitigate manufacturing risks, and enhance operational efficiency.Additional ResponsibilitiesDevelopment of machining strategy to take design data and produce machined hardwareDevelop manufacturing plans for high-volume productionDesign custom tools and fixtures as neededDevelop set-up sheets to show alignment of geometry from CNC program to physical workpiece.Identify, select, and procure appropriate tooling for job specific applications (based on part material, geometry, features, tolerances, system rigidity, and equipment capability).Releasing programs to the production team that have been validatedOwn process improvement opportunities (reduced machiningsetup time, improved part quality)Maintain configuration control of files and job recordsSafely working within an industrial environmentBasic QualificationsMin 3 years working with programming CNCKnowledge of metal alloys and usage within consumer and industrial productsExperience w Mazak MachnesExperience w SolidWorksKnowledge, Skills and AbilitiesSkilled in:Machining principles and GD&TEffective oral and written communication skills with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teamsStrong ability to operate basic machines, read instructions and apply appropriate procedures
