We are seeking a skilled and dynamic Public Relations (Account Supervisor) to join our agency. In this role, you will develop and implement comprehensive PR strategies and campaigns to elevate our clients' brands, products, and services. You will write compelling press materials"”including press releases, pitch letters, and media alerts"”and act as a spokesperson for clients when needed.The ideal candidate will have strong media relations skills and a talent for communication. You will monitor, manage, and respond to any issues impacting clients' reputations, while planning and executing high-impact events that generate media coverage and customer engagement. there is travel associated with this role.Collaboration is key, as you'll work closely with Account Services, Creative, Media, and Social Media teams, as well as clients and external partners, to ensure campaign success. You will stay ahead of industry trends and emerging issues, offering strategic insights and recommendations. Additionally, you will contribute to new business opportunities and prepare comprehensive post-campaign reports that evaluate media coverage, campaign effectiveness, and key learnings.Day-to-day Responsibilities Stay abreast of all client news and issues.Provide strategic client counsel as needed.Be prepared to work with client on crisis situations Lead annual PR planningCoordinate agency brainstorm Develop ideasbudget and present to clientManage budget; submit monthly projections to accountingManage events and client toursHelp coordinate calendar of events Manage PR budget Draft and distribute press release for eventsTravel to events, as neededIdentify and pitch unique story angles to the media Drive execution of year-long calendar of events Create plan of action for each initiative Work with internal and external partners as needed to develop and executeIdentify and pitch unique story angles to the media Work within approved budgetProvide results report to client Write bylined articles for client that will appear in MagazinesWrite and publish monthly newsletter, for clientMonitor media daily; share relevant clips with clientCreate annual highlights recapping the year's top placements and programsProactively seek media opportunities Prepare quarterly update reports for the Commission meetings Participate in monthly Zoom meetings with the client and other outside agency Meet every other week with agency internal teams Qualifications:The ideal candidate will have:A bachelor's degree in public relations, communications, marketing, journalism or a related field.Proven experience in public relations, preferably in a leadership role, with a track record of successful campaigns and media placements.Crisis management experience.Ability to continually think out of the box and provide the client with new ideas and solutions.Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and senior executives.Ability to manage, mentor, lead and develop a team. Excellent client service skills.
