Primary Responsibilities: The ideal candidate will be motivated with achieving sales goals for assigned territory(s) and assist the sales team in sourcing and executing on business opportunities while performing sales administration functions in an organized and timely manner to support the operations of the sales organization within the assigned territory.Location Information: This position requieres to work On-Site at our Carpinteria, CA Headquarters Salary Range: Salary starts at $66,560 as indexed, plus variable compensation. Salary is ultimately determined by the scope of the position, the candidate's relevant experience, credentialscertifications and internal equity. We offer a generous compensation package that includes quarterly incentive comp participation, an attractive benefits package with medical, dental and vision, 401k company match, discretionary profit sharing, PTO, valet parking and more.Some travel is requiredConduct sales activities including but not limited to:• Proactively initiate sales and business development activity from an assigned list of registered representatives through relationship buildingMake agreed upon minimum number of outbound calls per day and use CRM software to a track log of resultsTrain and motivate reps to sell platform programs and services to their client baseAchieve agreed upon new business goalWill be accountable and measured on sales results achieved from assigned advisorsterritory• Support assigned Business Development Officers "BDO" with training and business development activities to increase salesWork in conjunction with BDO(s) to implement business plans for assigned advisorsterritory. Coordinate sales activities to achieve desired results.Schedule and follow-up on mod 1-5 and other PlanMember University training activities• Support new rep business transitions by assisting with sales related tasks assigned by the Transition or Sales Department.Participate in representative Home Office Visits "HOVs"Assist in sales related transition plan task assignmentsAssist advisors in completing paperwork to transition business to platform investment options• Understand the PlanMember Platform Programs and assist BDO in training reps Deliver rep module and new business systems trainingUnderstand all facets of PlanMember Programs, services and technology.Take transferred calls from call center to further explain products and services when the call becomes trainingsales oriented rather than service oriented to transition calls into salesbusiness development opportunities.Train advisors on how to implement business development programs and assist where necessary on the implementation so that they succeedAssist in the development of sales and training materials to be used in the field to include research, writing and delivery of material.Assist in the development of sales ideas and presentations to be used by the Sales Department to increase salesAdditional Job Duties• Serve as interface between the sales organization and the other support areas of PSC for problem resolution and sales force communications (e.g. Compliance, Operations, Finance, Product Development, Marketing)• Advisor administration functions, including: Handle advisor inquiry and problem resolutionAudit commission payouts, hierarchies and reportsCommission system administrationDeliver quarterly commission system webinar trainingCalculate commission adjustmentsAdminister vesting program and auditsafeguard reportingAdminister advisor activation processAdminister advisor termination processProcess payout change requestsProcess Split ID setup requestsProcess Securities activity requestsProcess Advisor IAR approval requestsProcess Advisor REITAlternative Investment approval requestsRequest and Approve client reassignmentsCommunicate and follow up on annual compliance requirements (ACM, ACQ, Firm CE, etc) and disciplinary actionsAdminister Partner Club Trip contest reportingMaintain and update procedures of sales administration function.Create and document new procedures with support from manager Maintain selling agreement files and publish selling agreement data to Partners websiteAdminister sales management reports analysis and distributionSpecial Projects as needed by the sales teamHelp transition new Advisors to PlanMemberBusiness ContinuityEssential Job Function: This is NOT an Essential Job Function "Essential Staff" position.Qualification StandardsEducation, Licenses, Work Experience, Etc.Skills RequiredStrong sales and relationship building skillsStrong organizational communication and planning skillsStrong presentation skills, including seminars and client meetingsStrong Project Management skills or aptitudeAbility to prioritizeEffective communication skills (Oral and Written)Strong organizational skillsDetail orientedFamiliarity with current technology applications that support sales and marketing (e.g. sales management systems, etc.)High energy and strong work ethicAbility to work in and foster a team-oriented atmosphereRequires strong judgmentdiscretion abilitiesMS Windows Word data management and Excel functionality.Ability to Research and Problem SolveMinimal daily oversight and the motivation to be a self-starter capable of managing diverse tasks in a time sensitive environmentWork Experience2+ years of relevant experience in customer servicePrior experience in a corporate environment, securities firm or working with financial services andor retirement plans preferredEducation:High School Diploma RequiredCollege Degree or work equivalent experience preferredHave or obtain Series 7, 6566, 63(if no 66) & 24Licenses andor Certifications RequiredFINRA LICENSE - SIEFINRA LICENSE - 7FINRA LICENSE - 65FINRA LICENSE - 63FINRA LICENSE - 24 Position Information: This job description is intended to convey information essential to understanding the scope of the position and is not an exhaustive list of skills, efforts, duties, responsibilities, or working conditions associated with it.
