LansingElectric is experiencing rapid growth and is on track for continued success.Role DescriptionLansing Electric is seeking a driven and experienced Residential Electrician to join our growing team.The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in residential and multi-family electrical work, astrong work ethic, and a commitment to delivering high-quality results. We are looking for aprofessional who is eager to grow through hard work and dedication.Primary Responsibilities• Perform electrical installations, troubleshooting, repairs, and maintenance in residential andmulti-family homes.• Identify and resolve electrical issues efficiently and in accordance with safety standards andlocal electrical codes.• Deliver high-quality workmanship, ensuring customer satisfaction on every job.• Keep accurate records of square footage and work completed to qualify for bi-weeklyperformance bonuses.• Maintain effective communication with clients and team members, providing timely updates andaddressing concerns.• Continuously seek to improve your skills and knowledge in the residential electrical field.• Organization and coordination of projects within the company including project documentation.• Tracking timelines and maintaining schedules.• Assist in expediting workflow.• Work with the team to achieve organizational goals while upholding best practices andprocedures.• Other duties as assigned.Required Skills & Traits• Ability to create new process and improve upon existing process• Ability to work independently and as a team.• Ability to prioritize.• Continuously perform well in a high paced and ever-changing environment• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills• Strategic thinking and problem-solving skills• Strong leadership and communication skills• Goal oriented, self-motivated, and accountable• Customer and team focused.• Collegial, cooperative, and respectful of all team members• Industrious, uses time well• Recognizes and manages risk• Possesses a natural sense of urgency• Ethical and honest• Regular, reliable, and on-time attendance• Computer proficiency• Ability to adapt and be flexibleEducation & Experience• Minimum 3 years of residential or multi-family electrical experience.• Reliable transportation (truck, van, or similar vehicle) to transport tools and equipment to jobsites.• Valid driver's license and clean driving record.• Strong knowledge of residential electrical systems, installations, and repairs.• Self-motivated, persistent, and eager to grow your career and income.• Ability to lift and carry heavy equipment and perform physically demanding tasks.• Familiarity with current electrical codes and safety regulations.• Excellent communication skills.• Willingness to work flexible hours to meet project deadlines.Schedule:• Monday-Friday, standard daytime hours; 8 am - 5 pm. Standard officeequipment, such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets, and fax machines, inaddition to standard tools and construction materials and equipment used when building a homeare used in this rolePhysical Demands:• The role requires the ability to talk and hear, stand, walk, use hands to handle or feel, and reachwith hands and arms. Occasional lifting of office products and supplies, up to 20 pounds, maybe necessary.
