The team is dedicated to maintaining the highest standards of safety, quality, and sustainability in every project undertaken.Job Description: This Contractor is seeking an experienced and dynamic Heavy Civils Superintendent to join the team in Dallas, Texas. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in civil construction, with a proven track record of successfully managing large-scale projects. This role requires exceptional leadership skills, technical expertise, and a commitment to delivering projects on time and within budget.Key Responsibilities:Oversee and manage all on-site construction activities for heavy civil projects, ensuring compliance with project plans, specifications, and safety standards.Coordinate with project managers, engineers, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure efficient workflow and timely project completion.Develop and implement project schedules, budgets, and resource allocation plans.Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress, quality, and safety, addressing any issues promptly.Lead and mentor on-site construction teams, fostering a culture of teamwork, accountability, and continuous improvement.Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations, codes, and company municate effectively with stakeholders, providing regular updates on project status, milestones, and any potential risks or challenges.Manage project documentation, including daily reports, logs, and records of labor, materials, and equipment.Qualifications:Minimum of 10 years of experience in heavy civil construction, with at least 5 years in a supervisory role.Extensive knowledge of civil engineering principles, construction methods, and industry best practices.Proven experience managing large-scale projects, including highways, bridges, tunnels, and other infrastructure.Strong leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate and manage diverse teams.Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.Proficiency in project management software and Microsoft Office Suite.Valid driver's license and the ability to travel as needed.OSHA certification or equivalent safety training preferred.Education:Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field is preferred.
