Must be located in the Phoenix, AZ metropolitan area. Base salary + commission position.Summary: The Jr. Sales Executive's primary function for the first 90 days is to learn about the company and what you will be selling. You will ultimately be maintaining relationships with clients by providing support, information, and guidance on new technologies and solutions. Develop profitable and sustaining business relationships within the national designbuild arena that includes Fortune 500prospects, AVIT consulting firms, national architectural and design firms, and nationalconstruction management firms. Create and maintain top-of-mind awareness of Level 3Audiovisual expertise.Accountabilities:Exhibit a consultative sales approach to determine a customer's technology needsCleary communicate with clients and staff regarding project scopes and deliverablesUncover project opportunities and manage thorough hand off to Operations or special projects teamIdentify and select core group of consultants, architects, and construction management firms to target on a continuing basis:Schedule and present Level 3 Audiovisual's capabilitiesDevelop relationships with senior level and key decision makers in target organizationsFurther:Present Level 3 Audiovisual offerings with appropriate Enterprise prospects and organizationsAssist fellow team-mate efforts where necessary with larger opportunitiesAssist with large opportunity proposal development as necessaryParticipate in AVIXA, IFMA, AIA, and other pertinent organizations for networking purposes as approvedContinuous education in the technology fieldAbility to travel and telecommutework from home (home office in AZsalespeople can live in another state)PERFORMANCE METRICS:(7) Seven new qualified LeadsOpportunities each monthFollow upschedule meetings with (4) four existing clients per month to update on Level 3 Audiovisual and discuss new opportunitiesMaintain detailed business development pipeline tracker and locate all opportunities within NetSuiteParticipate with management in a monthly conference call to review activities and progress toward metrics. Currently scheduled on the 1st Monday of each month.KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES REQUIRED:Knowledge in the Audiovisual IndustryAbility to assess business opportunities and coordinate specialists to harvest businessClear communication of AVIT solutions that best fit the clients' needsConfidence and PerseveranceExcellent interpersonal skillsAbility to successfully handle multiple tasks projectsSuperb understanding of Level 3 Audiovisual and its products and services ability to communicate the sameHigh level verbal and written communication skillsProblem solving and trouble shooting skillsIT skillsQUALIFICATIONSCollege degree preferred1 + years sales and or business development experience with high level executivesAVIT experience preferredDetail orientation and ability to follow-through with lengthy projectsExcellent spelling, grammar, and business proposal preparation skillsCreativity and independent thinkingDeductive reasoning and application skillsProven proficiency in common software applications including but not limited to PowerPoint, Excel, Word, internet savvy.
