Provide emergency medical assistance, such as CPR or bandaging a woundQuickly and efficiently assess a patient's condition and determine the best course of treatment in collaboration with the paramedic on board.Transport patients safely in an ambulanceProvide first aid or life support to patients who are sick or injuredTransfer patients to the emergency area of the hospital or other healthcare facilityReport what they saw and did to doctors, nurses or other healthcare staffDocument what kind of medical treatment was given to the patient from the moment of arriving at the scene to transferring the patient to the healthcare facilityReplace, clean and buy inventory of supplies and equipmentMaintaining vehicles, stations, and communication and medical equipment.Decontaminate the ambulance interior following the treatment of a patient with an infectious disease, and report the case to the proper authorities.Job Summary:Texas16-week assignmentTwo weeks ON Two Weeks OFF12 Hour-ShiftsAM and PM shifts availableBase pay: $18hrOT: $27hr.Biweekly pay scheduleYou will be assisting a private EMS company doing inter-facility transfers and responding to 911 callsCall volume: 6-10 calls per shift. IFTs and or 911 calls. Calls might average 1.5 - 2.5 hoursRequired Skills:Compact State EMT-B license or Texas EMT LicenseLocal Residents (Preferred)BLS, PALS, and ACLS CertificationsAt Least 3 years of experience with IFTs or 911At least 3 years of experience driving an ambulanceJob Type: ContractPay: $1,946.00 per weekSchedule:12 hour shiftOvertimeLicenseCertification:Driver's License (Required)NREMT (Required)EMT-B Texas License (Preferred)Work Location: On the road
