Proactively communicates and coordinates between the Fought Team, Detailers, General Contractor, Architect, Designers and Trade Partners.Reports To: Sr. Project ManagerJob Classification and Hours: Salaried Exempt EmployeeLocation: Fought Office in Tigard, ORAbility to travel between the job site and Office and other occasional business-related travelMinimum Qualifications & Technical Skills: 4-year college degree in Construction Management, Architecture, Engineering, or related field (preferred) or 4+ years of steel fabrication field experience.Minimum of 2 years of project experience as a Project Engineer.Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and Bluebeam RevuFamiliarity of with Procore, CMiC or other project management software.Familiarity of Construction Management nomenclature and processes (RFIs, Submittals, CPM Scheduling)Develop detailed project plans, including timelines, budgets, and resource allocation.Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues that arise during the fabrication process.Monitor project expenses and manage budgets.Review and approve fabrication drawings and technical specifications.Understanding of steel fabrication construction and processes.Professional Qualities: Embody and Promote Fought's Core ValuesStrong management, coordination, and organization skillsExcellent communication skills - verbal and written.Ability to perform as a leader and a team player.An understanding of the business and ability to apply sound judgment efficiently based on synthesis of past experiences.A good balance of technical and managerial skillsGood analytical and decision-making skillsResponsibilities:Material & Equipment Procurement:Actively coordinate submittal and shop drawings review process (logs, compliance, approvals).Assist lead Project Engineer and Project Managers with material procurement tracking and coordination based on schedule updates.Schedule:Familiarity with project schedule and subsequent look ahead schedules.Coordinate schedule communication with Architect, General Contractor, Designer and Trade Partners.Document Control & RFI's:Organize, expedite, and manage RFI processFacilitate generation of proactive RFIs with proposed solutionsCoordinate communication of RFIs with General Contractor, Architect, Designer and Trade PartnersCoordinate distribution and tracking of project plans, specifications and other pertinent field documents including record and as-built drawingsCost Control:Participate in project cost control and jobsite accounting practicesUnderstand invoicing, purchase order, change order, and job billing processReview and assemble Trade Partner and Self-Perform scope change order requestsPerform detailed take off and budgetingHave a general understanding of General Conditions and General Requirements and budget forecastingScope Management:Participate in Trade Partner buyout, scope clarifications, and subcontract agreement generation (buyout)Participate in coordination and tracking of field work orders and extra work authorizationsCoordinate Trade Partner scope changes due to RFIs, Change Orders, and Owner & Designer DirectivesReview and distribute subcontract modificationsUnderstand Fought's standard terms and Subcontracts & Purchase agreementsCloseout:Coordinate project closeout processTrack Trade Partner closeout documentation: operation and maintenance manuals, equipment data, warranties and as-builtsCommunication:Actively coordinate between Trade Partners, General Contractor, Architect, Detailers, and DesignersPhysical DemandsLifting Compensation:Employee (and their family) can enroll in the company's medical, dental, vision, and basic life insurance.Employee may receive an annual employer discretionary bonus.Employee will have access to a personal 401(k) plan (no employer match); and Discretionary Employer Contribution Plan.Employee will start with 130 hours of PTO not including seven recognized holidays.Equal Opportunity Affirmative Action:All qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, citizenship, disability, or protected veteran status.
