Role Overview The Recruiting Specialist Program Manager is a full time position that manages the team of Recruiting Specialists who engage with agencies to fill short-term (locum tenens) clinical roles at NorthStar facilities, and who support event follow-up, sourcing activities and initial screenings of contract staff, as a part of NorthStar's clinical staffing strategy. Essential Functions: Coach, mentor and develop Recruiting Specialists. Provide effective performance management through annual performance review, employee recognition, and disciplinary actions as necessary. Select new hires and oversee onboarding. Assess daily staffing and assign workload in an equitable and efficient manner to meet department deliverables. Train and teach new Specialists the processes for hiring locum staff, and coordinating with onboarding, HR, operations and credentialing teams to ensure a smooth acquisition of the locum provider for an assignment at a specific NorthStar facility Standardize and implement consistent process across the Specialist team, with a focus on practice details, rosters, and start date management efficiency Execute the contract staffing strategy established by department leader. Establish business relationship with agency contacts to facilitate strong partnerships for mutual benefit Oversee Specialist team operations in an organized manner to ensure teammates and internal partners are informed and have received appropriate documentation. Collaborate with Recruiters and assign Specialist workload to optimize resources and support Specialist career growth goals Analyze data and monitor dashboards to measure team performance and areas for improvement. Expectation Hybrid Role: At least 2 days per week at assigned work site along with in-person organizational meetings; all other days may be worked remotely. Qualifications: Bachelors Degree or equivalent experience 2 Years Experience sales, recruiting or a related field Strong verbal and written communication skills 2+ Years of Supervisory experience Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: Proficient in Microsoft Office Suites and applicant tracking. Experience with and knowledge of sourcing effectiveness, screening, interviewing, selection and candidate assessment techniques. Ability to understand, adapt, and respond effectively to a constantly changing environment. Strong personal motivation with ability to work with little supervision and attention to detail while working in a deadline driven environment. Ability to communicate clearly and concisely across multiple levels within the company.
