Are you looking for a very rewarding career? Apply Today! • The preschool program SLP will be working with children ages 3-5 years old. Full-time or part-time/ Supporting their speech language needs, potentially their feeding and swallowing needs. Use a ton of communication devices. • The school age program will depend, but typically ages 10-21 with significant needs. • They follow the flexible model. See below in Exciting Client Details. • They have one 30-minute block per day or two to complete daily paperwork. Write session notes for every student that they see, those must be done within 48hrs of the session. They use Frontline IEP direct to document notes in there. Each student has an annual review, anything too lengthy, annual review report, what they've done in the school year and the recommendations for the next year. School district tends to have longer reports. • All employees are encouraged and open to attending different events (walks, activities) Requirements: • Master's degree (M.A./M.S.) in Speech Pathology, NYS license required, • ASHA certification (CCC) preferred. • Two (2) to four (4) years related experience and/or training. • Special education background • Clinical fellow without certifications, but has teaching certification Hours of Operation: • M-F 8:30am-4:00pm, no on-calls, no weekend • Full-time or part-time available. For anyone that wants to do a part-time position, and since there is such a high need, they are open to accept the hours the candidate wants to work, • 100% onsite • Information regarding how often they are at different campuses, and in relation - mileage Pay and Benefits: • $51,500- $78,000/ year "¯ • Benefits • Follow a city school district calendar • All full-time and part-time regular employees receive three (3) paid personal leave days each year (based on the anniversary of date of hire). • Part-time regular employees will have personal time prorated based on the number of hours worked each week.
