Amentum is currently seeking a qualified candidate to serve as an General Engineer in support of the Army Project Director Sensors-Aerial intelligence (PD SAI). This position is currently on-site. Other duties may be assigned to support client and contract deliverables. This position is pending funding. Job Duties and Responsibilities: Develop, implement, and document systems engineering, integration, and readiness processes and procedures for PD SAI systems. Participate and assist in the coordination of the systems engineering integrated product team and other technical forums at the PD SAI and subordinate agency level. Coordinate with program, project and product management offices to assess the efficacy of the engineering and integration processes. Independently evaluates, selects and applies standard engineering techniques, procedures, and criteria, and makes minor adaptations and modifications. Provides independent and professional support on portions of complex projects. Review, advise, prepare and provide comments to documents including: Logistics Support Analyses plans, technical documentation, reliability and maintainability document, MANPRINT, training manuals, provisioning documents, and database management systems. Required Skills and Qualifications: Masters Degree in Engineering, or other related scientific /technical discipline is required: Four (4) additional years of direct relevant technical experience may be substituted for education level. A MS degree in a related field may be substituted for one (1) year of experience. A PhD in a related field may be substituted for an additional two (2) years of experience. Ability to talk and interact with people proactively. Critical thinker. Able to move fast and adjust quickly. Able to multitask. Clearance: TOP SECRET//SCI clearance required for this position.
