Job Duties: Provide technical, electrical, and mechanical support for a variety of production equipment to minimize downtime. Perform facility maintenance as needed to keep production operating smoothly. Responsibilities: Understand, execute, and ensure consistent compliance with all company rules, policies, and practices. Perform essential job functions of team members as necessary to maintain efficient, stable, and continuous operations. Support activities engaged in repair, maintenance, and installation of machines, tools, and equipment to ensure continuous production operations. Utilize knowledge and skills to maintain the highest level of safety and efficiency for machines, tools, and equipment. Troubleshoot safety, machine, equipment, and tooling issues daily. Be proactive in predicting abnormalities and finding innovative solutions to correct them. Participate in frequent evaluations of machines, tools, and equipment. Maintain a safe working environment for all team members. Ensure compliance with safety regulations, PPE requirements, and company safety policies and procedures. Lead, perform, and/or participate in 5S housekeeping, accident investigation, and safety audits and related activities. Maintain knowledge of procedures concerning Hazardous Waste, Spill Response, and Plant Security. Qualifications: Education: High school diploma, GED, or equivalent required. Associate's degree in Maintenance, Industrial Technology, or related field preferred; or an equivalent combination of education and relevant experience. Experience: Minimum three (3) years of experience in maintenance and repair operations with electrical systems, electronics, fabrication, hydraulics, mechanical drives, pneumatics, robotics, and PLC programming and troubleshooting. Automotive industry experience preferred. Personal/Technical Skills: Perform preventive maintenance on critical equipment. Maintain the building grounds and utility systems of the plant. Complete job orders and requisition tools, equipment, and supplies required for operations. Ensure equipment operates within established parameters. Support Kaizen and other related activities. Must have a good working knowledge of industrial technology. General understanding and working knowledge of skill areas including electrical, electronics, hydraulics, mechanical drives, pneumatics, robotics, and PLC. Ability to work in a multi-skilled environment with maintenance aptitude to learn skilled trades other than area of expertise. Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, drawings, specifications, and technical instruction manuals. Thorough understanding of company product, trade terminology, maintenance and repair operations, manufacturing processes, and machine/equipment operation. General understanding and working knowledge of manufacturing and assembly equipment and tooling design, automation, robotics, or manufacturing processes. #PPG5 JobForce is proud to be an equal opportunity workplace.
