The staff electrical engineer works with leadership to conceptualize our next generation products, and leads and teaches other engineers and technicians in designing & building electronic sensors for new & existing products. Responsibilities: • Lead and develop microcontroller based firmware designs, responsible for associated documentation, and release design related work. Generate software test procedure based upon the product specification. • Participates in the design, development and testing in mixed-signal analog and/or digital electronics for circuit boards on the component and circuit level • Maintain and upgrade existing product tester's software for the production department. Support of device return and complaint review including implementation of preventive or corrective actions. Support of incoming product inspections, development, documentation, and release design related work instruction • Technical leader for assigned project. Support lower level engineers as necessary along with any other design task duties assigned • Other duties and responsibilities as required. Requirements: • Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering • 6+ Years embedded electronics design • 7+ Years electrical engineering design industry Page 2 of 3 • System-level design expertise with optical sensors and electronics-mechanical systems • Experiences with advanced lower power circuit and power harvesting technologies, • Familiarity with digital data processing, UI concept, and schematic capture tools, • solid skills in electronics hardware and software, and user interface software. • Strong communication skills • Track record of digital, analog circuit and embedded firmware design. Preferred Qualifications: • Master's Degree in Electrical or Electronics • Experience in wireless network communication. • Knowledge in AI for sensor application • Knowledge in Web page and smart phone application design.
