As a result, Pence Financial Group is looking to expand their team of advisors.As an Financial Advisor on the Pence Financial Group team, your focus will be to provide the ultimate in client service resulting in retaining any firm clients that may be assigned and adding new clients to the firm. You will have ongoing access to systems, training, mentorship, and an investment team that will enable you to confidently focus on your number one objective; acquiring and retaining clients. All investment portfolios are managed by our investment team so that you can concentrate on building the client relationship.Please note this role is located on site in Alexandria, VA. Only candidates who are fully licensed (S7 & S66 or equivalent) and live in the immediate area will be considered.ResponsibilitiesBuild, expand, and manage client relationshipsAssess clients' needs and goalsPrepare and present financial analysisplans to prospects and clientsCommit to a collaborative approach as you consistently act with integrity and professionalismExpand and deepen your own knowledge base and practices in the financial fieldAttend firm client eventsPrepareprocess back office paperwork as neededInput and complete tasks in company provided CRM (SalesForce)Understandexplain account and investment details, including performance, to clientsRequirements3-years of experience as a client-facing advisor (or military equivalent)Securities licensed: SIE, Series 7 & Series 66State Life Insurance license (or ability to obtain within 90-days)Clean compliance recordCustomer Record Management (CRM) system experience (SalesForce preferred)Experience communicating individually andor to small groups in a professional mannerExperience in high touch customer serviceConsultative sales experienceCollege degreeDesire to obtain a CFP DesignationMilitary experience a plusTo succeed in this job, you need to have:A servant's heart - always putting others firstExcellent written and verbal communication skillsProfessional demeanor, punctuality and "earn it" work ethicRelentless follow-up and strive for satisfactionOutstanding organizational and time management skillsAbility to proactively assess situations and workthink independentlyPrioritization skills, flexibility to handle last minute items with poiseCompensation: Base salary range: $60,000 - $90,000 + Bonuses + a comprehensive benefits package including 401(k), health insurance and more
