CFOCOO Nina McLemore, a luxury women's retail apparel company focusing on professional women, seeks a CFO COO. We're looking for someone to work alongside the CEODesigner to drive the growth of the business. Our brand is known for high quality luxury fabrics and timeless styles. A bonus is that all collections are manufactured in NYC.The role can be based in the Washington, DC area or New York City. Must have experience in manufacturing, retail, fashion or consumer goods and be willing to operate at the strategic level as well as in the PANY BRAND:Nina McLemore designs and sells designer women's apparel focused on executive women and "community professionals" who want high-quality clothes that have style and are appropriate for their lifestyle. Quality, vibrant colors, and great fit represent our brand. The collection is sold through three Nina McLemore stores, the internet, direct to women through independent sales consultants, and exclusive better specialty stores.Responsibilities:Oversee all financial business partner aspects for Direct to consumer, Retail, Wholesale, eCommerce, Manufacturing & Operations.Play an integral role in the development and execution of long-term financial strategies, contributing to the overall growth and sustainability of the company's financial health.Prepare P & L, Balance sheet, and linked Cash flowPrepare & analyze financial statements on a monthly basis and prepare reports detailing financial performance and potential areas for improvement.Create and maintain budget and forecast models; produce comprehensive budget, forecast and cash-flow reports.Approve all invoices and financial transactions.AP, AR, Wholesale Billing, Commission, Payoll and Personnel issuesAnalyze year-over-year budget variances, identify key growth areas of savings and support implementation.Prepare and file Sales Tax reportsDevelop and manage lean and efficient Finance department.Your profile:Bachelor'sMaster's degree in Finance or Accounting, CPA a plus.*****MUST have significant experience in consumer products, apparel, wholesale, or manufacturing with a proven track record of excellence and leadership (required).7+ years of experience in finance (accounting, budgeting, control and reporting) with experience working in a high-growth and tight Cash Flow environment.Exceptional track record of developing and implementing financial strategies that have consistently met or exceeded planned objectives, providing personal leadership through example.Demonstrated expertise in financial modeling, reporting, budgeting, forecasting and risk management.Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues and staff to create a results driven and team oriented environment.Possess personal qualities of integrity, credibility, and commitment to corporate mission.Flexible and able to multitask; can work within an ambiguous, fast-moving environment, while also driving toward clarity and solutions; demonstrated resourcefulness in setting priorities and guiding investment in people and systems.Strong verbal, and written communication skills.Proficient in all Microsoft office programs, expert user of ExcelMust have experience in P & L, Cash Flow and Balance Sheet linked, COGS, manufacturing, DTC sales and multiple state sales tax expertise.**This is an exciting opportunity that offers great benefits and growth opportunities, as well as a flexible schedule.
