VSCP seeks to add value by growing revenue and EBITDA organically and through M&A, leveraging their extensive industry expertise and connections.Role DescriptionThis is a full-time on-site role for a Private Equity Associate at Vesey Street Capital Partners in New York, NY. The Associate will be responsible for financial modeling, analytical assessments, investment evaluations, due diligence, and private equity transactions within the healthcare services sector.Day to Day ResponsibilitiesWork directly with senior members of the team to source and diligence new investment opportunities (including valuation work, financial modeling, preparing investment memos and presentations)Active monitoring of portfolio companies, including communication with management teams and board membersPreparation of reporting materials and presentations for Board Meetings and LP communicationSupport other members across variety of tasks related to deal analysis and executionContinuous analysis of the firm's investment pipelineFinancial modeling to support potential transaction opportunitiesEstablish and maintain relationship with industry, trade and professional organizationsSupport initiatives to maintain firm visibility in the industryQualificationsUndergraduate degree (preferably business focus) with excellent documented scholastic performance2 to 5 years experience working in the financial services industry (preferably experience in investment banking)Organizational experience in deal process and completionExcellent financial modeling and PowerPoint skillsExperience in organizing presentations for internal and external audiencesA documented record of strong performance and group successStrong communication and interpersonal skills
