Losey seeks to hire a full-time on-site Financial Advisor Assistant to support the wealth management team in the Baton Rouge, Louisiana branch office. The ideal candidate can provide high-level, professional administrative support in wealth management and be responsible for assisting team with day-to-day client needs. The candidate must be experienced in handling a wide range of administrative and support-related tasks and be able to work independently and accurately. The candidate must also be well organized, flexible, and able to enjoy the administrative challenges of supporting the principal. This role requires exceptional interpersonal skills and the ability to interact effectively with the practice team, clients, industry professionals, and partnering companies while remaining flexible, proactive, and resourceful The candidate must also possess a keen sense of confidentiality and exercise good judgment and discretion.Responsibilities IncludeAssist with client support and time management through scheduling appointmentsManage and resolve client service needs i.e. issues with statements and transactionsUtilizing strong judgment in managing priorities of requestsDemonstrating a proactive approach to problem-solving with strong decision-making capabilityMust be able to work under deadlines and adapt to a fast-paced environment, remain cool under pressureHeavy scheduling and coordinating of calendars and listsServe as a quality control point to ascertain all paperwork, policies, and procedures for client requests have been adhered to in accordance with all compliance requirementsDrafting agenda and meeting minutes, as well as proofreadingOrganizing meetings, including the preparation of materials, managing takeaways, and follow-up.Filingorganizing documents into the appropriate locationsCompleting special project work as assignedAssisting with and completing project work as assigned and special projects related to practice growthSupporting other team members as neededRequirementsExperience executive administrative support (5+ years)Excellent time-management and organizational skills and the ability to multitask and prioritize workloadInitiative and responsibility, to anticipate needs and follow throughSound judgment - knowing when to escalate an issueStrong organizationaladministrative skillsProficiency in Microsoft Office suiteDesire and ability to work in a team-oriented environmentFlexibility for overtimePreferred QualificationsHigh school diploma, a college degree preferred, or equivalent experienceWorking knowledge of financial products; securities and insurance licenses (FINRA Series 7, Series 66, or series 63, Life and Health insurance designation), but not requiredLife insurance license a plus, but not requiredPrevious experience supporting at group head levelin the wealth management andor trust space is a plusInsurance license is not needed to apply; however, there is no cost to you in order to obtain a licenseAdditional InformationGenerous compensation is NOT commission-based and is commensurate with the industryBenefitsBase compensation range is $87,000 - $135,000.
