Title: Risk & Insurance ManagerLocation: Philadelphia, PA (3x a week in office)Compensation: Dependent upon experience + excellent benefits + PENSION Job Overview:Our client, a very well-known company based in Philadelphia is seeking a detail-oriented In-House Risk & Insurance Manager to join their growing team. This role will be responsible for identifying, assessing, and mitigating risks while managing our insurance portfolio to protect the organization's assets and ensure compliance with relevant regulations. Role will report to General Counsel and will be responsible for providing oversight for all of the insurance operations within our clients organization. Very visible position and an opportunity to take ownership of a department. Key Responsibilities:Manages existing broker and insurer relationshipsOversee the company's insurance policies, ensuring adequate coverage and compliance with legal requirements. Liaise with insurance brokers and underwriters as necessary.Prepares insurance requirements for various types of agreementsManage the claims process, including the investigation, documentation, and resolution of insurance claims. Collaborate with legal counsel as needed.Issues the Request for Proposals ("RFP") and manages the process to select a brokerStay updated on industry trends, regulatory changes, and emerging risks to ensure the company's risk management strategies remain relevant and effective.Reviews and approves Certificates of Insurance for vendors, clients, partners, etc.Remains current with insurance marketplace trends and developments to ensure awareness of available coveragesQualifications:Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, Risk Management, or a related field.Professional certifications such as ARM (Associate in Risk Management), CRM (Certified Risk Manager), or CPCU (Chartered Property Casualty Underwriter) are a plus.Five (5) years or more of risk management and insurance related experience.The specific compensation for this role will be determined based on the education, experience, location and skill set of the individual selected for this position.SolomonEdwardsGroup, LLC is an Equal OpportunityAffirmative Action employer.
