Growing law firm located downtown Chicago seeks an Estate Planning and Trust Paralegal to join their growing team. The ideal candidate will have robust experience in estate planning, trust administration, and probate processes. The paralegal will work with a collaborative team. They offer a competitive compensation package and hybrid work schedule. Some responsibilities include:Assist attorneys in drafting wills, trusts, and other estate planning documents.Prepare and file legal documents with courts and other appropriate venues.Assist with trust administration and probate proceedings, including inventory, asset valuation, distribution, and final accounting.Conduct legal research, including analysis of statutes, judicial decisions, legal articles, and codes.Coordinate with financial institutions for the transfer of assets.Provide support with tax return preparation, including estate and gift taxes.Manage client profiles, ensuring that all data is updated and municate with clients to gather necessary information and outline the process.Review estate planning documents to ensure they are current and accurately reflect client wishes.Respond to legal inquiries, maintain records, and ensure all deadlines are met.Handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.Requirements:Previous experience as an Estate Planning and Trust Paralegal.Proficiency in legal research and documentation.Familiarity with probate procedures and rules of evidence.Strong oral and written communication skills.Proficiency in using legal software and MS Office Suite.High level of professionalism and confidentiality.Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.Attention to detail and problem-solving terested candidates please forward your resume to and for immediate consideration.
