PRACTICE MANAGER Job DescriptionThe HEAL Veterinary Practice Manager is critical to the success of our hospital. They are responsible for ensuring a positive work culture built on shared values, direct communication, empowerment, and accountability; creating operational efficiencies; and problem-solving to improve client service, employee engagement, and to ensure actions and outcomes are in line with hospital standards. The Practice Manager oversees the business activities of the hospital. These duties include hiring and training hospital staff; Collaborating with the bookkeeper and owner to prepare and manage budgets; Monitoring and analyzing key performance indicators; Researching and setting fees; Maintaining inventory and an inventory control system; Managing the hospital software; Implementing safety and security procedures; Maintaining HEAL's business website and social media accounts; and Promoting collaborationsreferral partnerships with area veterinary hospitals and specialists.The Practice Manager sets a standard for our workplace and culture by:Communicating the practice's values and mission to the team.
