Private Equity Staff / Fund Accountant

Interested in joining a growing firm at a dynamic time? Consider joining White Oak Fund Services, LLC. White Oak is a start-up professional services firm providing outsourced CFO support, fund administration and tax compliance services to private equity firms in all stages of their life cycle.  The Private Equity Staff Fund Accountant will be responsible for providing private equity fund accounting, private equity management company accounting, and tax preparation services to various private equity clients. ResponsibilitiesMaintain fund general ledgers.Maintain management company general ledgers.Manage cash balancesPrepare capital calls and distributions.Prepare quarterly and annual financial statements.Coordinate with auditors at year end.Prepare support for annual regulatory compliance filings with the itiate wire transfers and assist with general disbursements.Assist with valuation models.Prepare various private equity partnership and individual tax returns.Conduct basic tax research.Maintain and monitor procedures and internal controls.QualificationsBachelor's degree or equivalent in Accounting0 - 4 years of experienceExperience in private equity accounting a plusExperience with Investran a plusExperience with CCH Wolters Kluwer a plusStrong written and verbal communicator skillsStrong project management and organization skills and ability to manage competing priorities Results driven, self-starter who likes to take on new challenges
