Job Description The Division of Hematology/Oncology at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai and the Tisch Cancer Institute are seeking an individual for a position in Section of Genitourinary Medical Oncology for the Mount Sinai Health System. The Mount Sinai Health System (MSHS) is an integrated health care system providing exceptional medical care to local and global communities. Encompassing the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai and eight hospital campuses in the New York metropolitan area, as well as a large, regional ambulatory footprint, Mount Sinai is internationally acclaimed for its excellence in research, patient care, and education across a range of specialties. The applicant would join the faculty in the Division of Hematology/Oncology in the Department of Medicine at Mount Sinai, and have responsibility for patient care, clinical research, training and education in genitourinary medical oncology. The Division of Hematology/Oncology currently includes 120 faculty members, of which five focus exclusively on genitourinary oncology under the direction of Dr. Matthew Galsky. The applicant would also collaborate with a multidisciplinary team lead by Dr. Ashutosh (Ash) K. Tewari, Chairman of the Milton and Carroll Petrie Department of Urology and Director of the Center of Excellence in Prostate Cancer at Mount Sinai, and also with NIH-funded TCI investigators with expertise in prostate cancer mouse models, pathology, and pathogenesis.
