Swim Lesson Instructor (Group or Private Lessons) Dubuque Community Y 1 Positions ID: 52780 Posted On 09/12/2024 Job Overview Teach the next generation the importance of safety around water and help them improve their swimming abilities. Our swimming instructors will teach swimming lessons in accordance with YMCA guidelines, having prepared lesson plans accordingly, and support members and program participants in achieving their goals. All Y employees receive complimentary membership! QUALIFICATIONS: CPR for the Professional Rescuer, AED, Basic First Aid and Emergency Oxygen certifications. Must be able to demonstrate swim instructor skills in accordance with YMCA standards. At least 16 years of age.
