About the Facility - Sakakawea Medical Center SMC serves Dunn, Mercer and Oliver counties, and is located in the heart of rural Mercer County and housed in the City of Hazen. SMC consists of a critical access hospital (licensed for 13 beds) and a 34-bed licensed basic care facility. The medical center is a community-owned, not-for-profit organization and is governed by a volunteer board of directors. Any money remaining after expenses have been paid is reinvested back into the community to support local healthcare and education. Facility Address: 510 8th Ave NE, Hazen, ND 58545 CT Tech - RESPONSIBILITIES (listed are included but not limited to) CT Tech shall provide diagnostic imaging CT services in Radiography in a competent and professional manner assigned by the Supervisor of Medical Imaging Services. Provide services at dates and times assigned by the Supervisor of Diagnostic Imaging Services. May encompass out-patient, inpatient, urgent care, and emergency room departments. Perform diagnostic imaging procedures, such as CT examinations. Responsible for accurately positioning patients and ensuring that a quality diagnostic image is produced. CT Tech works closely with radiologists and the physicians who interpret medical images to either diagnose or rule out disease or injury. Perform proper radiologic CT examinations for images to be interpreted correctly by the radiologist. Deliver appropriate and timely imaging services in accordance with the Standards of Care established by the recognized diagnostic imaging department and in accordance with the policies and procedures. CT Tech is responsible for completing clinical reports and correspondence concerning patients under his/her care in a timely fashion. CT Tech - REQUIREMENTS Academic degree from an accredited Radiology Educational Program (Radiology). Minimum of six (6) months experience in Diagnostic Radiologic Technologist (Digital Radiology). Current North Dakota Rad/CT license. Current ARRT (The American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) certification in Radiology. Current BLS certification.
