Position Summary: As assigned by the Director of Procurement, the Sr. Marketing Coordinator leads the development of RFQ/RFP responses and client interviews on selected pursuits, including engaging other KBE staff to obtain needed items (legal, accounting, safety, estimating, HR, etc.). Creation of customized qualification packages and presentations to support business development goals Ensure that the company's vision, mission, and values are incorporated into everything that we do. Key Responsibilities and Key Functions: Include the following. Other duties as assigned: Responses to RFQ/RFP/Interviews - Capable of start-to-finish assembly Review initial RFQ/P, preparation of task list,; Review task list with Director of Procurement and assigned proposal team to develop response strategy and approach; Host kick-off meeting with proposed proposal team and/or interview team Track proposal milestone deadlines/deliverables in marketing software () Collaborate with KBE preconstruction and construction staff to create responses to RFP questions. This includes narrative descriptions of services and project approaches; Obtain needed submissions materials from Legal, Accounting, Safety, QC, HR and other departments to meet proposal requirements in a timely fashion; Responsible for the overall assembly of the final submission; or development of key components of submissions as assigned; Package, ensure, and document timely delivery of submissions For Interviews: Disseminate relevant materials to interview team Schedule interview rehearsals Prepare outline of presentation and work with team members to finalize presentation package, inclusive of all data, visual aids, etc. Ensure that details of interview (time, room set-up, availability of technology, # of client participants, etc.) is identified prior to interview Prepare custom marketing materials on request for BD managers and Senior Managers; Knowledge Library Gather and document project and staff details to support proposals and other business development pursuits; Ensure integrity and completeness of project/staff data in existing CRM system, including research and interviews with other company staff to gather/verify information; Routinely update standard proposal narratives for knowledge library; Store custom narratives and project/staff details in searchable database; Post-submission, ensure all newly defined project information/narrative information is updated in the CRM and elsewhere. Update project information (references, description, schedule, and other data) in the CRM, as identified Graphics As required or assigned, create interview and presentation materials, sponsorship ads, presentation boards and other miscellaneous graphic materials. Ensure the marketing materials you produce meet KBE brand standards throughout all graphics and presentations. Events Coordination Leads, or supports, the organization of selected company events or supports other Marketing team members on other events (includes company culture/fun events, networking events, trade contractor meet-and-greets, in-office events, and annual meeting). Internal/External Communications As assigned, create content for external websites (KBE, CMP, KBE Foundation) internal intranet, newsletters, media releases, direct mail/email, and other presentation materials. Education, Experience, & Qualifications To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Public Relations, Communications, Journalism, or related course of study; 5-7 years proposal/marketing experience in construction, marketing, engineering; or architectural industry Excellent writing and grammar skills; Experienced in proposal writing and preparation; High proficiency in Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint; High proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign required. Knowledge of Photoshop and/or Illustrator is helpful but not essential) Adept in use of CRM for reporting, research and updating; Familiarity with workflow programs, such as Proven skills in: Planning and organization in the execution of assignments Strong time, personal and pursuit team management skills; Exceptional written and verbal communication skills; Attention to detail, proofreading, and editing; High level of creativity. Ability to: Think strategically about how to best position KBE to prospective clients when responding to RFQ/Ps and in social media/PR strategies; Demonstrate independent reasoning and decision-making ability; Be a team player who easily collaborates with others to develop the best solutions; Foster positive image of the company to external and internal audiences; Display a sense of urgency and meet deadlines; Be flexible and juggle multiple priorities Be eager to learn new skills and take on new opportunities that will help you grow in your career and professional skills Work in a fast-paced environment.
