This position will be hybrid in nature at the manager's discretion requiring 2-3 days on-site at a Westinghouse US Engineering location . No relocation will be provided for this position. US Engineering Locations: Rock Hill, NC (40-minutes from downtown Charlotte) Columbia, SC Cranberry, PA (Greater Pittsburgh Area) Etna, PA (Greater Pittsburgh Area) Your Day-to-Day: The Poland Project Engineering Organization is looking for a Lead Project Engineer to deliver the first AP1000 Reactors in Poland. The Lead Project Engineer will report to the Power Block and Site-Specific Project Engineering Manager and be assigned to one or several technical areas. Their specific responsibilities will be as follows: Coordinate with GES functional managers and cross functional teams to implement standard work processes, procedures and automation tools on AP1000 Poland Project consistent with the strategic direction established by the respective Project Stakeholders. Provide direction to assigned lead(s) and team members for scope execution. Responsible for development, maintenance and distribution of engineering budgets and schedules for respective parts of Poland Project execution. Responsible to monitor staffing needs on assigned Tasks and communicate accordingly to create clear and timely demand signals. Facilitate cross-discipline coordination for both technical and schedule related issues. Interface with customers, consortium partners and regulators in support of Westinghouse stakeholder engagement and project plans. Who You Are: As a successful candidate, you will bring the following to the team: Experience leading and directing medium to high complexity projects to successful completion. Advanced interpersonal skills such as effective verbal and written communications, ability to lead and direct complex team structures, able to develop relationships with stakeholders in upper management positions, able to analyze problems, establish facts, and make complex decisions with little to no supervision. Extremely familiar with the AP1000 or AP300 project, processes, and procedures. Has ability to establish effective networks across various functional areas and is able to drive and motivate a team to reach a common goal. Why Westinghouse?
