Job Description: The Registered Nurse provides comprehensive psychiatric nursing services to patients with severe and persistent Mental Illness. This is ambulatory care in our Adult Outpatient setting at 2 Wall St and in the community. Key Responsibilities: These services consist of assessment and education regarding medications, administration of injectable medications, and administration of AIMS exams. Coordination of services with case managers and prescribers as needed. Basic fundamental computer experience to process e-mail and client access is required. Medication reconciliation, being a liaison between patients and their treatment team to ensure coordinated care, participating in team meetings, and providing feedback and observations to the clinical team. Patient Care Support: This may include: injections, medication monitoring, and education, nursing assessments including AIMS exams and Clozaril monitoring. Requirements Qualifications: A New Hampshire RN license is required, as well as certification as a psychiatric and mental health nurse from the ANCC when eligible. Experience: Must have at least one year of work experience in the field of psychiatric/mental health services.
