Overview: We are seeking a skilled Technical Business Analyst with a strong background in sales, operations, and revenue data analysis. This role involves working closely with cross-functional teams to gather, analyze, and optimize data to drive business decisions. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience writing and pulling SQL queries, implementing data best practices, and using data to improve business performance and processes. Key Responsibilities: Collaborate with business leaders in a highly decentralized environment and Finance teams across he organization to understand and analyze business needs, focusing on revenue data and performance metrics. Write and execute SQL queries to extract and analyze large datasets from various data sources. Develop data models, reports, and dashboards to support key business decisions related to operational performance. Identify trends, patterns, and insights in sales, operations, and revenue data to provide actionable recommendations. Optimize data collection processes and ensure the integrity, accuracy, and consistency of data across systems. Develop and document business requirements, translating them into technical specifications for data-related projects. Work with IT and Engineering teams to design and implement data solutions, ensuring alignment with business goals. Collaborate with stakeholders to define KPIs, create reports, and provide regular updates on key metrics. Assist in the design and implementation of data governance frameworks and best practices to ensure data quality and compliance. Proactively identify areas for improvement in business processes and data management practices. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Business, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field. 3-5+ years of experience as a Business Analyst, Data Analyst, or in a similar technical role. Proven experience working with sales, operations, and revenue data. Proficiency in SQL with the ability to write, modify, and optimize complex queries. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with experience working with large datasets. Knowledge of data management best practices, including data governance, integrity, and security. Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI, etc.) is a plus. Ability to communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders and collaborate with cross-functional teams. Detail-oriented, organized, and able to manage multiple projects simultaneously. Preferred Skills: Experience with CRM, ERP, or other business systems related to sales and revenue. Familiarity with cloud-based data platforms (e.g., AWS, Google Cloud, etc.). Knowledge of financial or revenue data analysis.
