The Operations Associate will play a key role in managing the operational aspects of the firm. The associate will work closely with investment professionals, legal, compliance, accounting, tax, and external partners to ensure smooth execution of transactions, monitor ongoing investments, and maintain accurate records. The role is critical for ensuring that the firm's operations are compliant, efficient and accurately reflected in internal systems.Job Duties:â— Assist in the execution of deals, including document preparation, review, and coordination with legal, compliance, and investment teamsâ— Ensure accurate settlement of capital flows and disbursementsâ— Liaise with external counterparties (e.g., borrowers, custodians, and administrators) to facilitate transaction closingsâ— Maintain and update internal systems and databases with accurate dataâ— Ensure all documents are properly filed and archivedâ— Set up new entities and bank accountsâ— Complete KYCAML proceduresâ— Request updates from portfolio companiesâ— Support regulatory reporting requirements and auditsâ— Create update meeting material, including fund due diligence questionnaires, presentations, flow charts exhibitsâ— Complete ad hoc research projects and requestsâ— Manage external access rightsâ— Ensure compliance with all internal operational proceduresâ— Liaise with our IT Team and AT&T to serve as the primary contact for corporate mobile devicesâ— Assist with vendor management and renewal outreachQualifications:â— Must have a minimum of 4-5 years of private fund experience, preferably within a private credit environmentâ— Extremely detail orientedâ— Entrepreneurial self-starterâ— Resourceful - able to figure out how to find an answer see a project through to completionâ— A problem solver solutions-oriented - someone who enjoys working through tough problems to find a solution and isn't easily discouragedâ— Action oriented - able to move fast and use good judgment with limited information setsâ— Ego-less - someone who loves rolling up sleeves and getting into the weeds on difficult projects that support the firm's strategic initiativesâ— Good at managing time and prioritizing appropriately to execute multiple tasks concurrent projectsâ— B.S. degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration preferredCompetitive compensation package based on experience and skills, with a target total cash compensation range of $100,000 - $150,000.
