As Senior Director of Enterprise Engineering you will lead and elevate delivery and improving the quality of our Enterprise product family. Reporting directly to the Vice President, Worldwide Engineering, this role will lead a distributed software engineering team across the US and internationally. Your success will be measured by the quality and timeliness of product roadmap commitments, achievement of assigned strategic objectives, and utilizing the effective use of Agile methodologies, to drive cross-functional partnerships and collaboration. Responsibilities Leadership and Development: Lead multiple product development teams to expand the enterprise market, including Management Solutions and Advanced ADC teams, through the entire product lifecycle"”requirements handoff, planning, development, testing, and releaseRoadmap and Delivery Management: Track and report on product roadmap deliverables, project status and delivery risks; ensure adherence to committed timelinesInnovation and Best Practices: Advocate for CICD, automated testing, and cloud-native and microservice architectures to enhance development efficiency and product qualityAgile Methodology: Drive the adoption and maturity of Agile and Scrum practices within the team; enforce high standards for development processes, including design review, security best practices, code quality, and automated testingProcess Management: Oversee code reviews, enforce technical standards, and manage the transfer of requirements from product management to development to ensure comprehensive vision and readinessPerformance and Engagement: Collaborate with VP Engineering to establish and maintain metrics for team performance, health, and engagement; manage resource allocation alignment with capacity and priority needsTeam EngagementDevelopment: Actively engage with staff through regular 1:1 career planning and team building activitiesCross Functional Collaboration: Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders in TAC, GTM and Finance to foster collaboration, cooperation, and communication; lead defect management processes and facilitate incident resolution and TAC escalation during service impairments and outagesCustomer and Prospect Engagement: Partner with GTM and TAC teams to engageQualifications:Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (Master's degree preferred10+ years of relevant software engineering experience with at least 5+ years in leadership rolesExtensive experience with modern automated testing and public cloud technologies and driving engineering productivityProven ability to manage and execute upon product roadmap commitmentsExperience establishing impactful engineering KPIsExcellent verbal and written communication skillsCommitment to fostering a transparent and collaborative cultureExperience scaling Agile and Scrum practices with distributed teamsPreferred Qualifications:Expertise in a specific domain such as software development, infrastructure, or data engineering.
