Duration: 12 Months (Temp to Perm)Client: One of the largest Aerospace companiesOverview:We are looking for a Senior Principal Electrical Engineer to join our Hardware Engineering team in Indianapolis, IN. As a Senior Principal Electrical Engineer, you will work within and lead a team of talented and experienced engineers performing activities related to design, analysis, simulation, test, and integration of digital electronic modules, FPGAs, andor CCAs for a variety of DoD applications. The qualified candidate possesses proficiency with all aspects of circuit card, FPGA, and embedded design. Experience with any of the following sub-disciplines of particular interest: system-on-chip (SoC) full stack development, digital and mixed signal design, configurable logic (FPGAfirmware) design, RF design and power electronics design.Duties:Lead a team in design activities, generating engineering drawings, developing models, integrating, and testing digital electronics products and performing trade studies.Drive an engineering team to the completion of projectprogram milestones.Provide Subject Matter Expertise (SME) in independent reviews, establishment of best design practices, and strategic capability growth.Following, guiding, and providing improvements established Hardware Engineering processes and procedures.Develop technical and bid approaches for pursuits and proposals.Execute thorough design and peer reviews.Direct and oversee testing events such as design verification and qualification testing.Qualification:Minimum 12 years of Engineering design experience with a Bachelor's degree or a Master's degree.Proficiency in managing schedule and resources to meet assigned milestones.Positive attitude and proven leadership skills.Customer focus and ability to collaborate.A self-motivated and effective communicator.Proficiency in electrical circuit design, schematic capture, embedded firmware design, electrical analysis, simulation, and test.
