JOB SUMMARY The Operations Intern will use continuous improvement concepts to identify manufacturing standards, best practices, and work with other business functions to maximize performance. This person will also assist in ensuring that all products and processes meet quality standards while working with department leaders. This internship will be heavily project based. The project will be operations in nature and will align with the company's biggest operational initiative for the summer. WORK RESPONSIBILITIES & DUTIES Contribute and lead special projects. This would include conducting research, analyzing data, and preparing presentations. Assist with daily operations by supporting day-to-day operational activities including data entry, report generations, and process documentation. Identify and recommend improvements to existing processes and procedures to enhance operational efficiency. Work with different departments to understand their operation needs and assist with coordinating inter-departmental initiatives. Perform other duties as assigned by direct supervisor. Requirements QUALIFICATIONS AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS Must be a sophomore or higher pursuing a bachelor's degree in supply chain management, data science, or related field. PREFERRED SKILLS AND EXPECTATIONS Experience in Production Scheduling, warehousing, or ERP systems. Strong Communication and collaboration skills, with the ability work effectively with cross-functional teams Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail. Proficiency with computers/software, proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite preferred. ADDITIONAL NOTES Must have the right to legally work in the United States. Must have transportation to and from work. Housing offered and paid by company if needed.
