Benefits: Overtime Travel Compensation 401(k) matching Health insurance Training & development Job description S&R Enterprises is a structural steel and precast erection company that is heavy involved in the aerospace and commercial industry, we are seeking a qualified candidate to assist in Construction Surveyor/Field Engineer on the east coast. Responsibilities Knowledge of Construction Surveying with Total Station. Assisting with layout, as-builts, and quality assurance of steel construction. Assisting with Project Management of documents and RFI tracking. Proper care and calibration of survey equipment. Skills Required Basic survey knowledge and strong math and spatial skills. Familiarity with construction drawings. Familiarity with CAD and 3D modeling. Organized. And most importantly the ability to learn and take responsibility. Preferred Skills and Qualifications Proficient with Total Station/Transit Proficient with Auto Level Experience using Windows operating systems and Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook) Demonstrated strong propensity for hands-on work and attention to detail Ability to multi-task, to manage shifting priorities and to follow through on projects with minimal supervision Ability to work in a construction/industrial environment Ability to work in a high-concentration, fast-paced environment Strong organizational and communication skills Willing to work overtime when necessary Compensation: $25.00 - $29.00 per hour
