Position Schedule: Monday - Friday 7:30am - 4pm Job Description: The Sales and Social Media Coordinator will be responsible for performing a range of clerical and administrative tasks to support daily operations of the sales team and social media marketing. Their duties include but are not limited to: answering incoming calls, making outgoing calls to customers, preparing quotes and orders in our software system, attending company meetings, utilizing the CRM system (Coppers), covering for account managers when they are out of the office, email correspondence with customers, taking messages on calls regarding claims, obtaining an in-depth knowledge on the treated lumber industry & common industry terminology and social media marketing. Key Responsibilities: Sales Support Support sales team with clerical and administrative tasks Communicate with customers Prepare quotes and orders Utilize customer relationship management system Coppers Attend company meetings Covering for account managers in their absence Limited to no travel Social Media Marketing Create, curate, and manage content for the company's social media channels (Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, etc.) to promote products, highlight company culture, and engage with customers. Monitor social media performance, including engagement metrics and audience growth, and adjust strategies as needed to optimize effectiveness. Collaborate with the marketing team to ensure brand consistency across all digital platforms. Stay updated on industry trends, emerging platforms, and best practices in social media marketing. Qualifications: Education: High school diploma or equivalent required; a degree in marketing, business, or a related field is a plus. Experience: 1-2 years of experience in sales, customer service, or social media marketing is preferred. Experience in the construction, manufacturing, or lumber industry is a plus. Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills. Proficiency in social media platforms and basic digital marketing tools. Ability to multitask and prioritize responsibilities. Customer-focused with a professional demeanor Mathematics: Strong algebra skills for managing pricing calculations and other sales-related figures. Basic knowledge of lumber or construction materials is a bonus but not required; willingness to learn is essential. A preliminary skills assessment will be required for all qualified applicants. The position is an onsite hourly non-exempt position. The position's pay range starts between $25-$30/hr based on the candidate's level of experience.
