Job Summary: Accounting Specialist provides accounting/administrative services and support for assigned area(s) including timekeeping, invoicing and assisting with human resources. It will be essential that the Accounting Specialist supports and integrates Sizemore's core values of Flexibility, Improvement, Reliability, Safety and Teamwork into the daily performance of assigned responsibilities. Responsibilities : • Process timecards for assigned Sizemore Payroll Location(s). Timecard processing includes but is not limited to accumulating/entering/maintaining employee information, insuring all applicable employees have the appropriate weekly hours, submissions to corporate payroll, answering payroll questions from employees, etc. • Act as intermediary between employee and Human Resources, as needed. • Assist with on-boarding activities for assigned Sizemore Payroll Location(s), as needed. • Responsible for timely completion of revenue cycle for assigned Sizemore Billing Location(s). Revenue cycle includes maintenance of client information, preparation of invoices, receivable collections, etc. • Address client reporting needs. • Code supplier invoices for assigned Sizemore business area(s). • Assist with general office activities including petty cash, maintaining supply levels, sustaining a clean office, addressing facilities as needed, etc. • Drive a culture of constant improvement, identifying and implementing projects to increase business-wide effectiveness and efficiency. • Help to enforce Sizemore's policies and procedures as needed. • Other tasks may be assigned as required. Qualifications : • Associate Degree required. Two years of experience may be substituted for degree (with HS Diploma or equivalent). • Prior experience preferred. • Demonstrate a commitment to service and professionalism through appropriate conduct and demeanor. Possess patience, tact, enthusiasm as well as diplomacy when dealing with any person no matter the circumstances. • Ability to multitask and work under pressure in potential stressful and time sensitive situations. • Possess good problem-solving skills with high attention to detail, including the ability to prioritize. • Ability to work with minimum supervision, read/comprehend detailed instructions and process information with accuracy and clarity. • Communicate effectively in the English language, both verbally and written. Ability to communicate in other languages a plus. • Proficient with MS Office programs. • Experience with Workday software a plus. Working Conditions: • Majority of work will be performed in a climate-controlled office setting • Prolonged periods of sitting • Must be able to lift 15 lbs.
