We are searching for a talented Systems Engineer to join our team in Egg Harbor Township NJ to provide expert support for security activities related to the Automated Message Handling System (AMHS)/ Integrated Enterprise Services Platform (IESP)/ National Airspace Data Interchange Network (NADIN) systems. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of the Federal Information Security Modernization Act (FISMA), National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) Risk Management Framework (RMF), and Federal Information Processing Standards (FIPS). This role involves collaborating with various FAA organizations and system owners to address risk assessment vulnerabilities and remediation plans, as well as supporting the Information Security Continuous Monitoring (ISCM) process. Key Responsibilities: Collaborate with FAA organizations and system owners to provide guidance on addressing risk assessment vulnerabilities and developing Plans of Action and Milestones (POAM) for remediation. Advise on appropriate responses to security-related data calls and support the ISCM process in coordination with the Project Management Office (PMO) and System Lifecycle Engineers (SLE). Utilize expertise to review FAA orders, directives, and federal standards, assessing their impact on NAS systems and recommending strategies to meet security objectives. Review and update security-related documents, including Security Configuration Documents (SCDs), System Security Plans (SSPs), Privacy Threshold Analyses (PTAs), Security Assessment Reports (SARs), and other pertinent security documentation. Demonstrate the ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team to address and resolve technical issues in a dynamic and evolving environment. Exhibit strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively document, communicate, and present security-related information and recommendations to various stakeholders. A Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Math, Computer Science, or other related discipline, 9-11 years of experience SEMCON offers a competitive salary and complete benefits package which includes health benefits (medical, dental, vision and life), 401K with a generous employer match, paid time off and paid holidays.
