Position : Mental Health Clinical Practitioner Location: Beverly, Chicago, IL Schedule: swing shifts 8:00am to 4:30pm and 12:00pm to 8:30pm Summary: Are you ready to be a beacon of hope and empowerment to children? Disability insurance. Duties & Responsibilities: Leads short-term cases with passion, developing treatment plans, and ensuring progress. Provides individual counseling, addressing motivational and psychosocial challenges with empathy. Cultivates therapeutic relationships, creating a safe space for diverse clients to thrive. Conducts thorough assessments, making connections to internal and external resources. Collaborates with specialists and agencies to maximize positive outcomes. Be a vital part of regular supervision meetings, training sessions, and conferences. Completes necessary documentation with precision - your work tells their stories. Offers crisis intervention, counseling, and creative problem-solving for every unique situation. Monitors medications with care, maintaining meticulous records. Infuses enthusiasm into household duties, ensuring a nurturing environment. Be the guardian of hygiene habits, providing direct assistance as needed. Qualifications: Master's degree in clinical social work, counseling, or related field. 1-2 years of clinical practice experience in a hospital or community setting. LPC, LSW, or relevant certification/licensure required (or obtained within 1 year). Bilingual proficiency in a second language (both written and oral). Knowledge/Skills/Abilities (K/S/A): Strong communication skills; ability to read, write, and speak effectively. Basic mathematical skills; ability to handle routine calculations. Physical capability to stand, walk, sit, and lift to 25 pounds. Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends. Work Environment: The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate These residential programs require that employees are available to work any shift, including evenings and weekends, according to programmatic needs, licensing requirements, and/or contract requirements.
