Compensation : $88 - $88 Hourly Client Job Ref ID : Shift Description : 3p - 1a and 9p - 7a Travel Medical Technologist Ithaca, New York, United States - 14850 Job Title: Travel Medical Technologist Shift: Days or Nights - 8 hours - five days Duration: 13 weeks Start Date: 03/20/2023 Stipend: $1,281 Hourly Pay: $88 OT: 1.5 Weekly pay: $3,163 JOB DESCRIPTION Medical Technologist - NYS license required Asap start 37.5/week Evening/Nights - shifts vary 3p - 1a and 9p - 7a Will work every other weekend 6 months QUALIFICATIONS Work Experience Minimum of two years in specialty in similar size hospital Experience with Cerner Electronic Medical Record Previous experience in a Clinical or Pathology Laboratory a benefit, but not required. License/Registration/Certification Certification by American Society for Clinical Pathology (ASCP) preferred, but not required. CPR (by the American Heart Association) BLS, ACLS - American Heart Association Education and Training BS in Medical Technology or BS in a related Science (Biology, Chemistry, or The Physical Sciences) and/or equivalent relevant experience as recognized by New York State Department of Education for licensure as a Clinical Laboratory Technologist. (NYS Dept of Education, Education Law, Title 8, Article 165, sub-parts 79-15; 9/23/8). Physical Requirements - Must be able to push, pull, bend, and ambulate without assistance.
