Mammography Technologist - Albany, NY Job Type: Full-time/Permanent Schedule: Day shift (6:30 am - 5:00 pm) Overview: Under direct supervision, performs mammography exams, screening and diagnostic studies, and needle localizations. Ensures technical quality of procedures and maintains knowledge of quality control and OSHA guidelines. Key Responsibilities: Perform Mammography: Conduct routine digital mammography exams as directed. Set Technical Factors: Choose the right technical settings based on patient details and suspected conditions. Prepare Patients: Confirm patient history, explain the exam process, and ensure comfort and safety during the procedure. Communicate Information: Share patient details and concerns with physicians and relevant staff. Requirements: ARRT Certification with Mammography Certification. NY state license is required or eligible. Minimum of 2 years of experience is required. Bone Density experience is preferred. Benefits: All standard benefits are covered.
