Job Description SUMMARY OF DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Reporting to the Assistant Vice-President of Clinical Reimbursement, this position will serve as the Clinical Reimbursement Director and oversee the MDS (Minimum Data Set) staff and activities across the service line. Other functions will include: - Processing and implementation of new initiatives to improve CMI outcomes. - The reimbursement outcomes and improvements and the development of the MDS staff and competencies for PAC. - Implement Utilization Review at all PAC facilities and attend meetings on a regular bases. - Implement Value Based Payment Model projects and oversee initiatives for Quality Reporting Payment and Quality Measure Systems. - Standardize MOS policies and procedures. - Oversee and realign MOS staffing to reduce costs. - Standardize and improve efficient clinical information reporting to improve reimbursement. - Ensure that all MOS assessments are timely completed and submitted to CMS/NYSDOH. - Provide statistical data for Finance, Administration, and Nursing purposes. Minimum Qualifications - Licensed and currently registered to practice as a Professional Nurse in New York State; and, - A Master's Degree in Nursing Administration or an equivalent field, and a minimum of four years - of high level responsible experience in nursing administration, three years of which shall have been - in a hospital; or, - A satisfactory equivalent.
