Title: Experienced Energy EngineerPlannerLocation: New York, NY, Washington DC, Boston, MAResponsibilities: Strong energy skills including a track record of successful project delivery for a range of client typesAbility to apply systems approach to complex problems in the energy andor built environment sectorsExperience in geothermal andor central plant designAbility to manage internal and external teams to project completionExperience of working as a consultant and leading consulting engagements direct to clientWork-winning skills with public and private sector clientsstakeholdersPreparing proposals for clients and development of client propositionsAbility to determine client requirements and deploy various resources to meet themExperience providing overall guidance to and management of junior staffExperience liaising with stakeholders, including organizing and leading workshopsNetwork of contacts within client organizations who commission energy planning work such as various tiers of government, campusprivate network operators, real estate developers and utilitiesA strong understanding of energy policy within North AmericaKnowledge and experience of energy system modelling including techno-economic modelling of energy systemsStrong demonstration of written and oral communications and presentation skills, and ability to communicate complex engineering and planning concepts (i.e. decarbonization, resilience) effectively to diverse audiences including municipal government, private investors, and community groupsCandidate Requirements:Engineering background qualification (Open to options)8+ Years experienceMust have the capability to be able to focus on the details to guide your team of engineers while competently delivering on the larger picture.Must be comfortable working in the early stages of technology adoption that leads the energy transition.Experienced in Feasibility, Taking briefs, Project management, Design, Bids (project lifecycle)Management of internal & external stakeholdersManagement of less experienced EngineersGeothermal HVAC MEP Drilling Water CHPDepth of understanding in regulations (NY, Massachusetts, Maryland, Illinois, Washington, California)Benefits:Potential bonusGenerous PTOCompetitive salaryHybrid remote working with travel401k, healthcare
