OVERVIEW The Health Office Nurse works under the supervision of the Certified School Nurse to support the health and well being of our school community. This includes, but is not limited to, support the Certified School Nurse in the delivery of vision screenings, health screenings, growth screenings, episodic care and first aid, individual health plan management, and control of acute and chronic disease among the student population. The Health Office Nurse works closely with teachers, support staff, and administration. Candidates should be energetic and progressive minded, with a willingness to work collaboratively with the school community. Skills and Qualifications Required 2 years of nursing experience; school health experience preferred PA nurse licensure Skilled in Google platform Willingness to travel between school buildings Compensation & Benefits Minimum annualized starting salary of $41,741 up to a maximum starting salary of $47,741 (will be prorated for part time schedule) Paid time off To Apply: Please submit a cover letter, resume, copy of license, and PA certification (if applicable) to: Clearances current within one year of hire date will be required and include Arrest/Conviction Disclosure, Pennsylvania Child Abuse History Clearance (Act 151), Pennsylvania State Police Criminal Record Clearance (Act 114), FBI Criminal Background Check, and Arrest/Conviction disclosure.
