The M&A Integration Leader is responsible for driving business performance and acceleration for strategic acquisitions; from operational due diligence through business integration into the broader Vertiv Operating Model and structure. This position requires a "General Manager-mindset" to balance run-the-business and integration priorities to drive achievement of the acquisition business case via strategy formulation and mobilization, hands-on execution support, and program oversight of cross-functional teams. This highly visible role will have significant global and regional exposure and interaction with the Vertiv Executive team, functional leadership, and SMEs. This critical, business-leadership role is centered on guiding teams through the multifaceted aspects of merger and acquisition integration. You will be instrumental in shaping the trajectory of our acquired businesses during their most transformative moments and you will have the opportunity to set the direction for above market growth. While the specific job deliverables will vary by acquisition, you will have the broad skills needed to exercise strong strategy formulation, analytical, critical thinking, governance and program management capabilities while helping to drive top line growth of the acquired organization's products and services. You will work independently and collaboratively with a cross-functional team. This position requires significant collaboration across Vertiv functions including product management, engineering, sales, operations, procurement, marketing, finance and IT. The position will be located at our corporate HQ's in Westerville, Ohio. Essential Job Functions * Strategic Thinking: evaluating industry trends, developing long-term implications and recommending pragmatic strategies for new business opportunities, portfolio optimization, and technology disruption. * Analytical Rigor: ability to bring structure to ill-defined problems and intellectual leadership to problem solving; synthesize insights from analysis and ensure credible, actionable recommendations. * Communications skills: ability to develop rapport and credibility across the organization, promote ideas and proposals persuasively. Ability to manage controversial situations including senior level leaders and external groups. * Strategic Execution: engage with key stakeholders in Corporate and Regional Strategy & Planning, Marketing, Sales, Product Lines, Finance and other functions to execute high visibility projects that support the Company's top initiatives. * Business Results: desire to understand, influence, and support management of the P&L through the journey of business integration and acceleration. RESPONSIBILITIES * Partner with M&A and business leadership to formulate the integration approach, operational structure, and key milestones/metrics for each acquisition. * Partner with business leaders to define workstream objectives and plans to launch holistic post-acquisition integration activities to maximize value, with a key focus on scaling for rapid growth. * Define business resourcing requirements to mobilize key workstreams and initiatives to drive business acceleration and integration, incorporating key issues discovered through diligence. * Establish global governance of integration activities to monitor overall status, progress and risks. * Support transfer of products from target organization to Vertiv, including engineering, supply, and manufacturing functions to accelerate product development and manufacturing readiness. * Partner with Vertiv global and regional sales teams to drive collaboration and execute plans to build processes and capabilities to pull new products through all Vertiv sales channels. * Integrate new products into key processeApply here:
