Established (20+yrs) Midwifery Practice has recently merged with Physician partners while co-managing care to continue providing Midwifery services within our community. Provides nurse-midwifery care to a caseload of clients within TriHealth. Maintains competence in providing healthcare services to clients of all ages and/or developmental levels. Complies with a Standard Care Agreement with a physician for practice and prescriptive authority. Sustains staff privileges according to rules and regulations of TriHealth. Utilizes expertise for consultation, education and research. Job Requirements: Master's Degree in Nursing Major in Nurse Midwifery Certification by the American College of Nurse-Midwives Registered Nurse with Ohio CNM Licensure Critical decision making ability Skilled in teamwork with multiple disciplines Professional membership in nursing specialty organization required 1-2 years experience full scope nurse-midwifery practice Job Responsibilities: Serves as an educator for personnel, clients, families, students and communities. Serves as a role model of professional nurse-midwifery conduct and practice. Participates effectively in the problem solving, consultation and case management of patient care. Maintains and updates current clinical skills Establishes positive relationships with staff, colleagues, patients, families and other health care providers.
