Schedule Mon - Fri: 8 AM - 5 PM (40 Hours) What You'll Do Summary/Objective: The role of Principal Collaboration Engineer is responsible for the development and delivery of project assignments, including but not limited to the analysis, design, architecture, deployment, and support of Microsoft 365 platforms, email technologies, and conferencing solutions. The ideal candidate should be an excellent mentor to our Senior Collaboration engineers and be able to handle delegated assignments from the team lead and management. Act as a subject matter expert for all relevant Microsoft 365 technologies Act as a subject matter expert for Microsoft Exchange Online and Exchange On-Prem configuration. Demonstrate the ability to take on a project or initiative and drive to completion through task breakdown and team collaboration efforts. Document and implement industry standard best practices and how they can be utilized at DCU. Demonstrates the ability to think outside of the box with a collaborative communication style. Implements and documents Microsoft 365 product projects and support including system configurations, standards, and procedures. Develops engineering processes to test and implement new software features and products that strengthen the Microsoft 365 infrastructure, security, and end-user client experience. Provide overall subject matter expertise regarding architectural design, migration, management, identity access, and implementation support for Microsoft 365 and its underlying technologies. Provide value-add information and guidance to the team for defining Microsoft 365 roadmaps and assistance on security compliance. Assist in capacity planning, performance monitoring, and maintenance to ensure overall system health. Oversee organization and support requirements of all Conf Room AV/Video Conferencing design, and support. Engaging resources from other IT depts and Facilities as necessary. Has proficiency in Microsoft 365 licensing and billing. Interface with support teams, at all levels, and vendors to resolve problems, issues, request and to complete knowledge transfers as required Assist in Security audits and remediation annually Perform other job-related duties as assigned by Managers(s). What You'll Need Degree in Information Systems or equivalent experience 7+ years of experience administering an Office 365 environment Microsoft 365 Certified Enterprise Administrator Expert, Microsoft 365 Certified Messaging Administrator, Microsoft Certified Teams Administrator, or relevant certification In-depth knowledge of PowerShell and how to develop automation / applications Expert knowledge Azure AD, Intune, Conditional Access, Identity Management, Single Sign On Basic knowledge of cloud VoIP technology preferred What We Do DCU is the largest credit union headquartered in New England - serving more than one million members in all 50 states.
